As the growth of Alexandria city is physically restricted in the northern and southern directions; therefore, it was suggested that the development of the area to the west of Alexandria is the only outlet for absorbing future expansion of the city.

Making a study to determine the guidelines of the future land use, economic activities and infrastructure required to reach the absorption target planned
Proposing legal and administrative measures required to realize the plan
