Design of Zaker Elzaher Highway, KSA
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project was composed of the design of the highway and tunnels in the area of Zaker el Zaher in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Both the highway and tunnels are four lanes in both directions.
The design of the highway also includes landscaping and street illumination. The design of the tunnel included the civil works and the different supporting system.
The length of the highway and tunnel is about 2.5 km. The length of each of the long tunnels is 890 m. The length of each of the short tunnels is 430 m.
