PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PACER Consultants’ scope of work included Carrying out the detailed design and provide the technical assistance during project construction.
The project is located at Sokhna and includes the new terminal operations at basin 2 will be fully integrated and compatible with the existing terminal at basin 1. Both terminals will be operate under one management.
The new terminal in basin 2 will support the operation of up to 13 ship-to-shore gantry cranes to serve Super Post Panamax container ships, rubber-tired gantry cranes, storage of ‘dry’ and refrigerated containers and associated services, operations, maintenance and gate facilities.
