Rehabilitation of Ports of Alex - Phase I
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is located at Alexandria and includes rehabilitation of two berths at Alex and Dekheila.
Alexandria International Container Terminal (AICT) is intending to convert two general Cargo berths (500m * 300 m per each) to Container terminals.
The tender is design built.
PACER Consultants prepared the detailed design of rehabilitation of the quay wall to accommodate gantry Cranes. This includes repair of the existing quay wall, design of land side rail (supported on piles) and the deck slab.
In addition to the design of the repair of the quays PACER Consultants designed the potable, fire fighting and wastewater networks.
