El Hammam Canal Extension
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This extension project includes the construction of a 57 Km lined canal with 5 regulators, 8 bridges, intakes and drainage to reclaim and serve 148,000 Feddans in the North Western coast.
The Scope of Services provided:
Pre-Construction Phase: (Field inspection & data collection, Review of existing designs, Develop construction cost estimates, Prepare tender documents, drawings and contracts, pre-qualify contractors, and issue bid packages and evaluate tenders).Phase II (1992 – 1994) During construction, in which the following tasks were carried: (Develop and control all construction schedules, QS and invoices’ approval, Ensure quality control, Control cash flow, Issue certificates of substantial completion, and Assist with arbitrations and litigations).
