PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Focuses on intervention in the maintenance of canal structures and the channels that make up the irrigation delivery and drainage systems. The Channel Maintenance component of the program's place initially in five selected irrigation governorates in Egypt.
Scope of Services included Delivery and drainage, structure, equipment & spare parts, Maintenance requirements for irrigation structures & maintenance equipment, Development of tracking system, Operation system and Arabization of Morrison Knudsen Engineering equipment, management system and material management system, Assigning key professional staff, developing policies and procedures and assigning responsibilities, Construction of maintenance shops and other facilities.
