Study and Planning of Jongli Canal, Sudan
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project involved an extensive field research work to select the optimum plan for the canal in relation to different technical points of view such as soil conditions, topographic characteristics, technical requirements, navigation requirements and environmental impact.
Scope of Services included Results of the field research work through the below mentioned studies have been implanted leading to vital results which affected suggestions taken. Among them are: A study of the canal’s intake site, Hydrological studies, A study covering the survey of the building materials , A model of Jongli Canal was developed.
