The Construction of the New Port at the Industrial Area at Rasheed Branch
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In order to enhance the internal navigation waterways in Egypt between Cairo and Alexandria, the River Transport Authority contracted with PACER Consultants to carry out the planning and design works of the new port in El Rasheed branch in the industrial area of Kafer El Zayat.
Scope of services included Survey works of existing port , Soil investigation, Determining the best location of the new port , Preparation of the project environmental report, The design works (structural, mechanical and electrical designs), Prepared the detailed drawings of all the designs, Sharing the owner in bid evaluations, Construction site supervision.
