PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PACER provided Master Planning, port layout options, zoning, conceptual designs, and cost estimates.
The initial objective of DP World is to prepare a master plan and conceptual design to enhance operation of terminal basin 1 by studying current circulation through the terminal, area of inspection and probability of extension to accommodate capacity demand without interrupting operations of the existing terminal.
Several alternatives were developed studying the suggested circulation, increasing the inspection area to achieve the required ground slots and achieve a back stacking duration of 5 days within the terminal.
