Residential | Regional Development Plan for the Farafra Oasis

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is concerned with the issue of a comprehensive development for Farafra oasis within the restrictions and potentials concluded from the previous studies integrated and updated on more detailed level for this area. The aim of the project is a multi-sector development of the area with the objective to accommodate agricultural population.

Scope of services include:

Application of the groundwater simulation model to divine economic water use until the year 2085
Development of data management and retrieval system for the area
Development of an administrative plan for the area’s natural human resources
Development of the Project
