Suez Canal Container Terminal [SCCT] Phase II
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PACER Consultants was responsible for the detailed planning, detail design, project management and supervision of the construction for the complete infrastructure, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical works.
Following the successful completion of Phase 1, PACER Consultants | Royal Haskoning DHV was appointed to undertake consultancy work for a new 60 ha terminal for Phase 2.
The Consultants designed the terminal works which consisted of earthwork, paving, utilities and buildings.
The terminal site covers an area of 1,200m x 500m.
The second phase, which is double the size of the terminal, was completed in 2014.
