PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PACER Consultants’ scope of work was Design and site supervision of the new regulator and lock on El Rayah El Tawfiki canal that included:

Survey works of the old barrage and lock and all the structural works crossing El Tawfiki
Canal and residential area on the right and the left sides of the Canal and preparing survey maps with suitable scale showing contour lines, network map, levels and traverse maps
Determining the best location of the regulator and lock according to the allowed distances between the existing structural works on the Canal
The design works (hydraulic, structural, mechanical and electrical designs) of all members of the regulators, downstream the regulator and the operation building
Preparing the detailed drawings of all the designs listed before
Preparing project specifications and the bill of quantity of the project items
Preparing the tender documents
Sharing the owner in bid evaluation
